Our first move?
We entered the industry with our first project as a Hollywood
movie.Though we were newcomers to the industry but we handled the
production of West is West which is a British Comedy- drama film and a
sequel to the 1999 award winning comedy East is East. Most of the movie
was shot in North India. West is West that was premiered at 2010 Toronto
International Film Festival, BFI London Film Festival, Miami International
Film Festival was although set in Pakistan but it was actually shot over in
Punjab. This was our first film experience and we were fortunate enough
to work on such a huge project. We were actually the first time production
members who according to the producer of the movie Leslee Udwin were
‘learning by their mistake’. After working with veterans such as Leslee
Udwin, Andy DeEmmony, Om Puri, Illa Arun, Vijay Raaj etc we learnt the
formal discipline.
Why we are better?
Our first lesson from western style of filmmaking has given us an edge
over the others. We have become professionals and we believe in giving
the international standards and quality. Therefore, at The Theatre Army
Film and Television Productions the international standards & quality
results are our supreme priority. We have a team that is passionate,
efficient and honest.
Our motive?
We believe that every project is equally important and have a unique set
of objectives and specific requirements. Therefore we take great
precaution in accessing the specific creative and production needs and
other constraints keeping in mind the budget and deadlines. When you
